Our Roots Are in Manufacturing

JBK Search was founded in 1999 by Brenda Patterson, but our experience in manufacturing and recruiting goes back much further.

Brenda began her career in the industrial sector, working with pumps, valves, underground storage tanks, and fluid-handling equipment used in food processing, dairy, pharmaceutical, and other manufacturing operations.

She later moved into outside sales for a national steel service center, spending years visiting manufacturing plants throughout Indiana and Ohio. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of plant operations, the challenges manufacturers face, and the importance of having good people in key positions.

In 1987, Brenda joined Management Recruiters International (MRI), where she built a manufacturing recruiting practice from the ground up. Her success earned her National Rookie of the Year honors, multiple Pacesetter awards, and membership in the Pinnacle Society, an organization of top-performing executive recruiters.

In 1999, she founded JBK Search with a simple goal: to provide companies with knowledgeable, personal recruiting service built on relationships, hard work, and doing what you say you're going to do.

Today, JBK Search brings that same approach to recruiting experienced professionals for manufacturing and construction companies.
